Nursery
St. Mary's nursery offers outstanding early years provision for children from the age of three. Details of the EYFS curriculum can be found on this website in the teaching and learning section. Although attendance at our nursery cannot guarantee admission to our reception class in main school (this would be unlawful), those who attend and are successful at gaining a main school place experience a seamless transition to main school and the next steps in their education.
For children aged three, we offer fifteen hours funded provision. Initially parents are asked to indicate whether they prefer these hours as all morning or afternoon sessions. Once these places have been allocated, additional chargeable hours may be available. Nursery children also have access to the school's breakfast and after school clubs. All places at our nursery are subject to availability.
Group visits for prospective parents are conducted by the Headteacher in the Autumn term. Please contact the school office in the Autumn term prior to the year of your admission to book a place on a tour. The nursery Admission Policy and application form are available from the 'Admissions' section of this website. We look forward to welcoming you to our nursery class which we hope will be the start of a fruitful partnership.
